Filigree Hamsa with Roman Glass

This piece has been crafted by Ben-Zion David, an Israeli artist from an eight-generation Yemenite family of silversmiths. The intricate filigree work is characteristic of the authentic ancient designs the Yemenite family brought with them when emigrating from Yemen to Israel. The Roman Glass incorporated in this piece is a chard of 2000 year old glass found in archeological digs in Israel.

~ This pendant measures 2”H (including the bale) x ¾”W. The oxidized silver snake chain is 18” long.
