A coating of acrylic elastic lacquer makes the placemats highly resistant to scratching, moisture, and stains. Cleanup is easy -- use soap and water or any non-abrasive household cleaner.

All items are constructed from okoume -- a fast-growing, sustainable species of mahogany harvested in Gabon, Africa -- and painted by hand with water-based pigments.
