Mariposa’s founder, Livia Cowen, has traveled the world
in search of artisans creating hand-made tabletop serve ware using time-honored
techniques passed on for generations. She brings the finest glassware from
Europe, the ceramics from workshops in Italy, the flatware from France and
recycled glass and aluminum ware from Mexico. Mariposa is celebrating hand-made
and craftsmanship, making local art, in villages around the world,
international, innovative and refine and awarding you, the customer, with pieces
that are extremely unique and functional and individually hand made by
world-wise artisans.
We have been selling Mariposa for fifteen years now,
starting in our store in California and taking this line with us to our current
East Coast on-line store. It’s been an incredible journey for us watching
Mariposa grow and evolve with new collections and products. Our excitement
builds up in anticipation for each new release. Mariposa has added brand boxes
for each item (with the exception of items with odd size and shape).
We work very closely with Mariposa. We try to keep every
item from the Brillante
collection in stock. If you don’t see it on our website, call us, we’ll get
it for you in a couple of days. We show the Mariposa flatware
on our website and sell it on a special-order basis, the same with Baubles
dinnerware. We’ll be happy to order any piece from any collection for you.

and will add your message card to each gift. Use our in-house engraving services
