This quote from Deuteronomy 8,8 describes the seven species of the Land of Israel. The pomegranate is a popular symbol for wisdom and good deeds, prosperity, fertility and happiness. Israeli artist Miriam Hirszowicz designed this pomegranate and decorated it with the seven species.
This piece was created from sterling silver by an electroforming process- a sophisticated contemporary art using electrochemical means to form a hollow metallic body. This piece is weighted at the bottom and can be used as a paperweight.
~ This unique artwork should be treated with care and not be exposed to extreme heat. Gentle buffing with silver cloth can always quickly restore the high gloss. Dropping the piece can result in dents.
